Italian Ennio Morricone (Grand Officer OMRI) is one of the world’s most accomplished composers and thus far has a career in movie and TV composing and orchestra conducting that spans an incredible 60 years. To celebrate this impressive milestone, he has been touring many of Europe's major cities under the title of 'The 60 Years Of Music Tour', which also promotes his latest release entitled 'Morricone 60'. This June (2018), he plays several dates in his city of birth, Rome, at the beautiful Terme di Caracalla.


Morricone composes a wide range of music styles, making him one of the most versatile, experimental and influential composers of all time, working in any medium. The maestro has influenced many artists from other styles and genres, including Danger Mouse, Dire Straits, Muse, Metallica, Radiohead and Hans Zimmer. He has won many accolades and awards throughout his career, including an Oscar for Best Original Music Score in 2016 (Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight) and a further 5 nominees. Furthermore, he has sold well over 70 million records worldwide to date.
