The Caracalla Opera Summer Season 2017 is to commence on the 13th June at the beautiful Baths of Caracalla. The setting of the stage is open air, making Caracalla a unique and truly sensational place to watch some of the best opera in the city. This summer's list of operas performed by Rome's Teatro dell'Opera includes Carmen (28th June - 4th August), Tosca (8th July - 8th August) and Nabucco (25th July - 9th Aug). Other performances on the program include Pianist and composer, Ludovico Einaudi (13 - 14th June), the ballet dancer Roberto Bolle (11 - 12th July) and the Italian singer Franco Battiato and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (26th July).
