Date(s): 16.07.16. Venue: Circo Massimo, 00153 Rome, Italy.

On the 16th July the mighty Bruce Springsteen arrives in Rome to play at the open-air Circo Massimo (Circus Maximus). Along with his E Street Band, this is the third and last date in Italy as a part of the worldwide River Tour. Little introduction is needed for Bruce, who is nicknamed 'The Boss'; his musical career begin in 1965 and he has taken influences from many music genres, including rock, folk, blues and country music. Springsteen's best known album is 'Born in the U.S.A.' (1984) which sold an amazing 15 million copies in the U.S. and 30 million worldwide. It became one of the best-selling albums of all time and spawned seven U.S. Top Ten singles. During his heyday in the 1980s, he became the first music artists to have an entire back catalogue (7 albums) in the UK Albums Chart simultaneously.

Born in New Jersey (U.S.A.) in 1949 to Dutch/Irish and Italian ancestry, he was raised in a working class family and this can be noted in many of the songs that he has written. However, having sold more than 120 million records worldwide, it has not prevented him from becoming one of the world's best-selling artists of all time, as well as earning numerous awards, such as 20 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and an Academy Award.
The Boss is not to be missed live and tickets are still available!
