Christmas is nearly upon us and Rome is home to many festive events, before, during and after the season of goodwill. Once such joyful event is 'Christmas At The Auditorium' (Italian: Natale all'Auditorium) which organises cultural and religious events over the period. Christmas At The Auditorium is being held at one of the city's most impressive venues, the Auditorium Parco della Musica, situated at the Villaggio Olimpico in the Flaminio district of the Italian capital. The event is inaugurated on the 8th December from 5:00pm, when there will be an array of performances, concerts and exhibitions, both inside and outdoors. There is also free entry to several of the opening performances, such as Harp Ensemble (5:30pm), Gospel Choir (6:00pm), as well as an array of other Christmas activities – a circus, Santa's Grotto, Christmas markets and ice-skating – bringing a complete magical Christmas world that appeals to both children and adults. The programme also includes concerts, Claudio Baglioni, one of Italy's most prominent singers, a 200-strong children's choir and lasts for a complete month (8th December - 8th January).
